MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

BS in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years, or MS in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant technical experience in aerospace industry. Must be United States Citizen.

DUTIES SPECIFIC TO THIS POSITION:

The ideal senior electrical engineer candidate will be responsible for performing routine electrical engineering analysis in support of the design, development, test, production and problem resolution tasks for complex, multi-layered printed circuit assemblies. Daily activities include, but are not limited to, system performance predictions using simulations, specification development, schematic development, component selection, card reliability assessment, derating analyses, EMI / EMC analyses, system test and evaluation, flight testing, system operations, and hardware procurement. Several years of experience developing space qualified avionics / electronics is highly desired. This position will serve as an analysis focal point within the company for new board design and development, maturation and evolution of existing products, and be a direct contributor to the advancement of both our current and future avionics products. We seek innovative, creative and self-motivated individuals that are passionate about space and the challenges of designing complex, high-performance products. You must find the idea of building and analyzing satellite and satellite technology intriguing. You must have a high level of comfort with electronics lab equipment, electronics simulation and analysis tools, and be willing and able to document results and findings clearly and succinctly for dissemination to internal and external stakeholders.
